San Antonio-Edmonton Trade: Rice for Martínez Tuesday, June 9th , 2048 In a hastily called press conference, San Antonio announced today a trade with Edmonton that will send 29-year old CF Todd Rice to the Jackrabbits in exchange for 27-year old 1B António Martínez and 19-year old minor league CF Fawwaz Qutuz. All players are expected to be in their respective new cities in time for today's games. For the year Rice is batting .379 with 4 home runs, 34 RBIs and 44 runs scored. Currently Martínez has 11 home runs and a .258 batting average. |
