Peter Cobb Hurt, Will Miss Rest of Year Sunday, March 15th , 2048
The doctors have spoken and Peter Cobb of the Brooklyn Robins didn't like what he heard. The 26-year-old reliever is almost certainly gone for the rest of the year and depending on his progress could miss some of next season as well. Cobb sustained his season-ending injury during the Phoenix Talons game yesterday at Spring Ballpark. He had to leave the game because he hurt himself while throwing a pitch. Today the Brooklyn medical staff reported Cobb had a torn ulnar collateral ligament and would be absent from the lineup for at least 9 months.
