 | Espinosa Wins JL Player of the Week Prize Monday, September 3rd, 2046 It was some kind of week for Pepe Espinosa of the Edmonton Jackrabbits. First he hits the heck out of the ball, ripping it at a .619 clip and the next thing you know, he is voted the Player of the Week in the Johnson League. Last week Espinosa went 13-for-21, chalked up 5 home runs and 9 RBIs and scored 8 runs. Not a bad week's work at all. For the season Espinosa has produced 144 hits in 508 at-bats for a .283 average with 19 home runs and gotten on base at a .327 clip. |   |
