 | Lumberjacks Lugo Sizzles with Cycle Saturday, May 26th, 2046 Jorge Lugo accomplished one of the rarer feats in baseball today when he hit for the cycle against the Vancouver Mounties in the 5-3 Portland Lumberjacks win at The Trail in Multnomah. Afterward, Lugo acknowledged that his accomplishment was special, but said he was more interested in helping the Lumberjacks win. "Maybe one day I'll look back on this with more meaning, but right now I just want to go out tomorrow and put some good swings on the ball and help my club win another game," Lugo said. On his historic day, he went 4-for-4 with 2 runs batted in and 2 runs scored -- and also got a spot in the history books. Jorge Lugo hit an RBI triple in the 1st, doubled in the 3rd, hit a solo-shot off Luis Torres in the 6th and singled in the 8th.
