Rashid Umrani pitched a dandy of a game to help the Montreal Blazers beat the Mexico City Aztecs, 6-1. Umrani, now 2-0, was the winner. In 5 innings, he gave up 4 hits, while striking out 0, walking 5, and allowing 1 run. Joshua Blenkhorn picked up the save, his 1st.

With two out in the bottom of the first, Júlio Torres put Montreal in front, 3-0, with a 2-run single. The Blazers went on to win the ballgame.

Torres told the Montreal News: "I don't know which I enjoy more -- being a ballplayer or the perks that come with being a ballplayer."

The Blazers improved their record to 28-27 with the win over Mexico City.
