Surfers Pull Back to .500 With Win Over Krill
The Long Beach Surfers went home winners at Vito Costantino Memorial Stadium, thanks in large part to starter Barry Short. Short stifled the Bikini Krill, enabling Long Beach to grab the 5-1 win. Long Beach is now 17-17, while Bikini is 18-16.

Rhys Atticus, the Long Beach catcher, contributed a run-scoring single in the bottom of the fourth inning to make the score 2-0, Surfers. For the game, Atticus went 2-3 with 2 singles and a walk. He scored 2 runs.
