New Orleans Crawdads starter John Lucas was in fine form against the Montreal Blazers at The Commanders Palace, leading his team to a win, 6-4. Lucas picked up the win for New Orleans, going 8 innings. He gave up 4 runs on 10 hits. He now sports a record of 2-0. The win takes New Orleans to 12-6.
Early in the game, center fielder Jared Boll had a bases-clearing double for New Orleans. It was his 3rd double of the season and put the Crawdads on top, 6-3.
