Pikemen Lose to Blazers, 6-1

Rockville had no answer for two-time All-Star Samuel Nebraska. The Montreal Blazers starter stymied Pikemen hitters, helping the Blazers cruise to victory, 6-1. Nebraska, now 9-6, was the winner. In 6 innings, he gave up 4 hits, while striking out 5, walking 1, and allowing 1 run. Montreal is 56-57 and Rockville, with the loss, 48-65.
The Blazers got a big at-bat from left fielder Clancy Lee. For the game, Lee was 1-5 with a home run. He drove in 2 runs and scored once. In the bottom of the first, with a runner on 1st, he stroked a 2-run home run. His 10th home run of the season gave Montreal a 2-0 lead.
