A 4-RBI performance from the 26-year old catcher Haydar Syeda helped the Sacramento Mad Popes beat the Bikini Krill, 5-3. Thomas Turner picked up the win, improving his season record to 10-4. He struck out 3 in 5.1 innings. Sacramento improves to 70-40 with the win. They lead their division by 12½ games.

Syeda contributed a big hit, a 2-run double, for Sacramento in the bottom of the fourth. With his team trailing 3-2, Syeda took a fastball from Jayden Nicholls and stroked the double to left. His 4th double of the season allowed the Mad Popes to leap in front, 4-3.

"We put it together today and came out with the win," Syeda said in postgame remarks. "That's the main thing."
