Brooklyn Loses Again, 5-1
The losses keep piling up for the Brooklyn Robins.

The Montreal Blazers went home winners at Ubisoft Field, thanks in large part to starter Nelson Thompson. Thompson stifled the Brooklyn Robins, enabling Montreal to grab the 5-1 win. The first-place Blazers, at 66-41, now lead their division by 2 games.

John Oliver aided the Montreal cause with a run-scoring double in the bottom of the third. For the game, the center fielder went 2-4 with a double. He scored 2 runs.

"I felt we were ready to go," said Montreal manager Ernesto Zamora. "Our pregame was pretty good."
