Cyclones Need Extra Frames to Get Past Krill
The Omaha Cyclones topped the Bikini Krill, 16-9, in 13 innings. Omaha left fielder José Vázquez, in particular, was impressive. He was 3-5 with a home run, 2 singles, and 2 walks. He scored 2 times and drove in 2. The third-place Cyclones have won 5 straight.

Omaha used the timely hitting of Logan Niles to seize the win. The second baseman stroked a run-scoring single in the top of the 13th inning to put the Cyclones on top, 10-9. It was his only hit in 7 at-bats, but it was a game-changer.

"I like our moxie," said Cyclones manager Julián Negrete.
