Krill Bridle Black Sox, 4-2
|
Bikini Krill starter Brody Picot pitched his team past the Chicago Black Sox, 4-2. Winston Morris recorded the save for Bikini, his 24th of the season. The winning streak has now reached 6 games for Bikini.
Bikini second baseman Napoleon Mellott contributed a timely at-bat in the bottom of the fifth. With two down, he hit a sinker to center field for a 2-run single. It was his 87th hit of the season and put the Krill ahead, 3-1.
"It's nice to deliver when your team's counting on you," said Mellott.
