The Austin Shredders powered past the Brooklyn Robins, 9-4, at Austin Baseball Grounds. Ubaid bin Saleh provided some of the pop. Furball was 3-4 with a triple and 2 doubles. He scored 2 times and drove in 3. Austin pitcher Jorge Marín got the win. He's now 5-6. Todd Jones was tagged with the loss. The loss makes Brooklyn 41-43.

With Austin leading 4-3 in the bottom of the fourth, bin Saleh hit a fastball from Todd Jones for a run-scoring triple. It was his 1st triple of the season and put the Shredders ahead, 5-3.

"When this team comes together and plays the way we can, we can compete with anyone," said bin Saleh. "I think we're going to keep proving that."
