Behind the hitting of Craig Ablett, the Bikini Krill stopped the Des Moines Kernels, 6-5. Ablett hit 2 home runs, while adding 3 RBI and scoring twice for the Krill. Enrique Aguilar got the win, improving to 5-3. He held the Kernels to 4 runs on 6 hits over 5 innings, while striking out 4 and walking 2. The Krill now own a record of 32-49.

Bikini took a 6-3 lead on Ablett's 7th home run of the season. The 2-run home run, which he hit off Slawomir Trzcinski in the top of the sixth, propelled Bikini to the win.

"Some wins are easy and some are difficult, but either way we come to the ballpark ready to work hard every day," Ablett told the Bikini Times.
