Pearls Drop Pilots, 4-2
|
The Tokyo Pearls called upon starter Tommy Boele, and he delivered, leading his team to victory over the Sao Paulo Pilots, 4-2. The win makes Tokyo 77-74.
Tokyo used the clutch hitting of Wagaw Fakihi to capture the win. The shortstop drilled a solo home run in the top of the 17th inning to put the Pearls ahead, 3-2. It was his only hit in 3 at-bats, but it was a big one.
"Always feels extra good winning this kind of game," said Fakihi.
