Buenos Aires Beats Jerusalem in Extra Innings
Jerusalem got a decent performance from pitcher Patrick Whitlock, but it wasn't enough to beat the Buenos Aires Brisas. Buenos Aires won the The Holy Land contest, 4-3. Whitlock threw 7.1 innings allowing 3 runs for the losing team. Buenos Aires reliever Harry Raymond picked up the win, raising his record to 1-7. Dileep Mirchandani was tagged with the loss. Baz Badr earned the save, his 2nd in 7 tries.

Buenos Aires used the timely hitting of Davey McDonald to seize the win. The right fielder stroked a run-scoring single in the top of the tenth inning to put the Brisas on top, 4-3. It was his only hit in 5 at-bats, but it was a game-changer.

"Our guys refused to lose," said McDonald.

The Brisas now have a record of 75-77.
