Pearls Deal Pharaohs 11-6 Loss
The Tokyo Pearls topped the Cairo Pharaohs, 11-6, in 13 innings. Tokyo left fielder Taylor Barfoot, in particular, was impressive. He was 4 for 7 with a home run, a triple, a double, and a walk, while scoring 2 times and driving in 4. Tokyo reliever Seu Park picked up the win to move to 9-1. Tony Lamplough suffered the loss. The win for the Pearls raised their record to 74-73.

Tokyo took a 8-6 lead on Adel bin Husam al Din's 23rd double of the season. The 2-run double, which bin Husam al Din hit in the top of the 13th, left Cairo pitcher Tony Lamplough shaking his head.

"Our team showed some resilience," said bin Husam al Din.
