Ken Bautista pitched well, but his team, the Johannesburg Gold, still dropped a 4-0 decision to the Athens Fighting Centaurs at Golden Palace. The winner was Aaron Anderson in relief. His record improves to 7-5. Ken Bautista took the loss. At 46-66, the Fighting Centaurs find themselves in last place in the GBC EurAsia Division.

Athens used the hitting of Marco Skinner to pick up the win. The second baseman clubbed a solo home run in the top of the fourth inning to put the Fighting Centaurs on top, 1-0. For the game, Skinner had 1 home run and 1 single in 4 at-bats.

"We just try to have good at-bats, whether we're winning, losing, or tied," said Skinner.
