Hebrew Hammers Pull Back to .500 With Win Over Brisas
|
Riding the 2-hit performance of the 25-year old center fielder Jaicus Bigornia, the Jerusalem Hebrew Hammers stopped the Buenos Aires Brisas, 4-0. Jerusalem reliever Bartolo Romero picked up the win, upping his record to 1-3. Cody Glynn shouldered the loss. Buenos Aires is in the throes of a 10-game skid.
Masinisan Sumait, the 24-year old center fielder , had a direct impact on the outcome. Sumait contributed a run-scoring single in the top of the fifth inning to put Jerusalem up, 2-0.
"We'll kick back tonight, then get set for the next one," Sumait said.
