Fading Brisas Lose 9th Straight
|
Jerusalem rode a decent outing from starter Patrick Whitlock to victory over the Buenos Aires Brisas. The final score was 4-2. The losing streak for Buenos Aires has now reached 9 games.
Jerusalem used a timely hit from Callum Montgomerie to get the win. The designated hitter stroked a run-scoring double in the top of the eighth inning to put the Hebrew Hammers ahead, 1-0. It was his only hit in 4 at-bats, but it made an impact.
"We'll relax tonight and get back after it tomorrow," Montgomerie said after the game.
