Acheson Slugs Aztecs to 5-3 Win
A 4-RBI performance from the former first round draft pick Marco Acheson helped the Mexico City Aztecs beat the Montreal Blazers, 5-3. Richard Lawrence got the save, his 18th in 19 chances. The Aztecs, at 39-41, sit in 6th place in the Johnson League Frontier Division.

Acheson had a timely hit for Mexico City in the top of the sixth. With Montreal trailing 3-2, he turned a first pitch fastball into a 2-run home run. It was his 10th home run of the season, making it 4-3, Mexico City.

Acheson called the win the result of "everyone working in tandem."
