Sharks Get Dramatic 7-6 Win
The home team gave their fans plenty to cheer about, with a thrilling walk-off win.

The Sydney Sharks stopped the Sao Paulo Pilots, 7-6, behind an impressive performance from Mohammed bin Mus'ad. The former first round draft pick made life miserable for Sao Paulo pitching. He slugged 2 home runs, while adding 5 RBI and scoring twice. Bryan Hall came out of the bullpen to earn the win. The right-hander allowed 1 run on 3 hits in 2 innings. His record now stands at 6-3.

Ethan Gahan electrified the crowd in the bottom of the ninth when he took Sao Paulo pitcher Iván Ruíz deep. His solo home run sent the Sharks home winners.

"This place was rockin'," bin Mus'ad said.

Sydney, at 57-66, occupies 7th place in the GBC.
