Brisas Dealt 8-3 Loss by Tokyo
|
Tokyo right-hander Umar Dogar pitched his team to victory over the Buenos Aires Brisas at Manama Fields. The final score was 8-3. Seu Park, credited with the save, is now 1 for 2 in save opportunities. The 'W' lifts Tokyo's record to 59-61.
The Pearls got a lift from shortstop Wagaw Fakihi, who in the bottom of the second stroked a first pitch fastball into center for a run-scoring single. It was his 9th hit of the season and put the Pearls ahead, 2-0.
"We took advantage of our opportunities," Fakihi told the Tokyo Daily News. "It's as simple as that."
