The Bikini Krill got a stellar performance from pitcher Jayden Nicholls, who handcuffed the Des Moines offense en route to a win, 8-2, at Edward Murphy Memorial Stadium. Nicholls got the win, improving to 3-3. He allowed 1 hit and walked 3 over 5 innings. Nicholls allowed 1 run. The Krill sport a record of 31-47.

Bikini used a well-timed hit by Pedro Guzmán to capture the win. The designated hitter socked a 2-run double in the top of the first inning to put the Krill ahead, 2-0. Though it was his only hit in 5 at-bats, it was important.

"It feels good to get this one," Guzmán told the Bikini Times.
