The 3-hit performance of Michael Schultz, who is on pace for 102 RBI this season, helped the San Antonio Outlaws beat the Mexico City Aztecs, 5-1. Quinton Manning, the winning pitcher, improved to 8-11. He pitched 6.2 innings, giving up 6 hits and 1 run, while striking out 5 and walking 2. The Outlaws now have a record of 64-81 with the win over Mexico City.

With San Antonio leading 2-0 in the bottom of the fifth, Schultz hit a 2-run single off Mexico City hurler Dave Corfield. It was the 117th hit of the season for Schultz and put his team ahead, 4-0.
