Brisas Fall to .500 After 6-4 Loss to Sharks
The Sydney Sharks knocked off the Buenos Aires Brisas, 6-4, at Blacktown International Sportspark. Harry S. Stamper III was a big reason Sydney won. The second baseman was 2-4 with a home run. He drove in 5 runs and scored once. Richard Balgera, the winner, goes to 3-3. He allowed 4 runs on 7 hits, with 1 walk and 5 strikeouts over 6 innings. The win gives the Sharks a record of 13-17.

Stamper III contributed a big hit, a grand slam home run, for Sydney in the bottom of the fifth. With his team trailing 3-2, Stamper III took a splitter from Michael Newcombe and stroked the home run to center. His 5th home run of the season allowed the Sharks to leap in front, 6-3.

"You can't get too high when things go well, or too low when things go bad. Right now, I'm just happy we got the win," Stamper III told the Sydney Herald.
