Big Day for McThomas in 10-8 Pharaohs Win
Bannon McThomas added some punch to the Cairo offense, helping them outmuscle the Sydney Sharks, 10-8. In the game, McThomas, who is tied for 6th in the GBC in runs scored with 16, was 2 for 3 with a home run, a double, and 2 walks, while scoring 3 runs and driving in 2. The Sharks fall to 8-13 and continue their lackluster start to the 2058 season.

The Pharaohs got a big at-bat from third baseman Vasco Fonzarelli. For the game, Fonzarelli was 1 for 4 with a home run. He drove in 4 runs and scored once. In the bottom of the first, with the bases loaded, he stroked a grand slam home run. His 3rd home run of the season gave Cairo a 5-1 lead.
