Strolz Impresses in San Antonio Loss
The New Orleans Crawdads defeated the San Antonio Outlaws, 8-6. Doing his part was designated hitter Patrick Strolz, who was 2 for 3 with 2 home runs and 2 walks, while adding 5 RBI and scoring twice. New Orleans pitcher Micah Harrington got the win. He's now 5-5. Kent Pickford was tagged with the loss. Frank Benítez closed it out for his 18th save.

The Crawdads got an important contribution from left fielder Jamie Angwin, who in the bottom of the second punched a first pitch fastball into left for a 3-run home run. It was his 16th home run of the season and put the Crawdads ahead, 6-0.

"Nice to tuck this win away," said Angwin.

The Crawdads are now 42-31, while the Outlaws fall to 36-37.
