Streaking Krill Win Another One, 6-1
|
Getting an impressive start from Jon Brown, Bikini beat Louisville by the score of 6-1. Brown, the winner, moves to 7-4. He threw 6.1 innings of 2-hit ball, while fanning 8 and giving up 1 walk. Bikini has run its win streak to 7 straight.
Graham Aubry had a big 2-run triple for the Krill in the bottom of the sixth inning. With Bikini leading 3-1 and runners on 1st and 2nd, he got a fastball from 30-year old right-handed pitcher Rich Lower and swatted a triple to right. It was his 1st triple of the season, and more importantly, it put the Krill ahead, 5-1.
"Winning breeds more winning, I guess," said Brown.
