Cory McGuire never let Bikini get something going. The Yellow Springs right-hander commanded his curveball in pitching the Nine to a 2-1 win. Gerald Rogers, credited with the save, is now 19 for 23 in save opportunities. The Nine improve their record to 31-41 with the win over Bikini.
McGuire's performance can only be described as masterful. He notched 5 strikeouts in 7 innings while allowing 2 hits. McGuire, who is tied for 4th in the FL with a 2.70 ERA, goes to 5-4 on the year with 80 strikeouts.
