DTD Injury Puts Fajardo Out of Lineup Thursday, July 27th , 2175 It's a long season and everyone picks up some cuts and bruises along the way. The latest star to be suffering this year is Júlio Fajardo of the Kansas City Royals, who suffered a finger blister while throwing a pitch in yesterday's contest against Minnesota. While he could play through the injury, it's unclear whether or not the Kansas City organization will risk that or simply sit him out for the 1-2 weeks the injury is expected to last. To date this year, Fajardo has compiled a 8-2 mark with a 3.58 ERA in 17 starts. |
