Brandon reaches base 3 times to Fuel Angels Offense
A good performance from center fielder Steve Brandon helped the Anaheim Angels defeat the Montreal Expos, 7-5. Brandon was 2-4 with a home run and a walk, while scoring 2 and driving in 4 for the Angels. Alex Cox finished to wrap up his 6th save. The Expos fall to 9-12 and continue their lackluster start in 2171.

Anaheim used the timely hitting of Ernie Nelson to seize the win. The center fielder stroked a run-scoring single in the top of the eighth inning to put the Angels on top, 6-5. It was his only hit in 4 at-bats, but it was a game-changer.

"We'll pop the top on a cold beverage and get back to work tomorrow," Nelson said.
