Miller Helps Texas Cruise to 11-0 Win
The 11-0 Texas win over Chicago was due largely to Brian Miller. The Rangers third baseman went 1-3 with a home run and 2 walks, while scoring 3 times and driving in 4. Texas reliever Harry MacCririe picked up the win, upping his record to 7-6. Jon Samuels absorbed the loss. Texas raised its record to 88-69 with the win.

With Texas leading 2-0 in the bottom of the third, Miller hit a fastball from Jon Samuels for a grand slam home run. It was his 5th home run of the season and put the Rangers ahead, 6-0.

"Being able to contribute to a win is always a great feeling," Miller told the Texas Bulletin.
