The first-place Montreal Expos picked up another win.

Montreal pitcher Brandon Henderson had a large part in his team subduing the Houston Astros, 2-1. The opposition could never mount much of a rally against the left-hander. Ángelo Medina earned his 7th save in 10 chances.

Terry Shelton helped the Montreal cause with one out in the bottom of the sixth. Batting with a runner on 3rd and Montreal leading 1-0, he hit a sacrifice fly.

"Brandon -- his tempo and rhythm were good," said Expos manager Justin Blanco. "He was the key to us winning."

Montreal is now 95-61.
