The Minnesota Twins topped the Miami Marlins, 6-2, in National League action at LoanDepot Park. The game was highlighted by the performance of Minnesota right fielder Rubén Elías. At 74-81, the Twins are currently 4th in the National League Segura.

With Minnesota leading 1-0 in the top of the fourth, Elías hit a sinker from Allen Patterson for a 2-run home run. It was his 31st home run of the season and put the Twins ahead, 3-0.

"This was a total team effort," said Elías.
