The New York Yankees wanted a good start from Andre Page -- and he delivered one. The result was a 1-0 New York win over the Boston Red Sox at Yankee Stadium. New York is 73-82 and Boston, with the loss, 91-64.
Page gave New York an exquisite performance. The right-hander allowed no runs on 3 hits over 8 innings.
"I didn't leave too many pitches out over the plate," said Page.
