John Hernández did all he could to help his team win. In the end, though, it wasn't enough to keep the Texas Rangers from being beaten, 6-5, to the Toronto Blue Jays at Rogers Centre. Hernández belted 2 home runs. With the win, the Blue Jays improved to 54-51.

The decisive moment came in the bottom of the ninth for Toronto. That's when Ron Goulder hit a solo home run off 24-year old left-handed pitcher Christian Kelley to win the game. The home crowd went wild.

"Good hitters want to be the ones taking those big at-bats," said Goulder.
