St. Louis Claims 6-1 Victory
|
Milwaukee had no answer for St. Louis Cardinals hurler Phil Durán, who overwhelmed Brewers hitters as the Cardinals coasted to victory, 6-1. The third-place Cardinals have won 5 in a row.
Naim Kalaj drove in one run for St. Louis. In a tie game with no one out in the top of the sixth, Kalaj came through with a run-scoring sacrifice fly. It put the Cardinals in front, 2-1.
"I just kind of blacked out and executed my pitches," said Durán.
