Miclat Brings A-Game, Rockies Beat Nationals
|
Colorado took on Washington in a contest which featured a pitchers' duel. Jeffrey Miclat, in particular, was fantastic. The Colorado right-hander helped his team snag the win, 3-1. Derrick Hansen recorded the save, making him 17 for 19. The Colorado winning streak has reached 3 games.
Miclat, the winner, is now 6-5. In 8 innings of work, he gave up 1 run on 2 hits, while collecting 6 Ks. He essentially shut down the Washington offense.
"Every time I step on the mound, I want to go out there and compete and bring my best game," said Miclat.
