Rangers Even With Cardinals After Home Win
The Texas Rangers and the St. Louis Cardinals will take the Divisional to a decisive 5th game. In a must-win situation, the Rangers beat the Cardinals, 5-1, at Nolan Ryan Field to force the series into what will essentially be a one-game playoff. Texas right-hander Matt Miles had a big role in the win. He threw 7.0 innings of 2-hit ball.

Miles confounded St. Louis hitters. Over 7 innings, he allowed 1 run on 2 hits.

"Feels good to get the job done," Miles said after the game.

The next game is set to be played tomorrow at Busch Stadium in St. Louis.
