Monarchs Díaz Suffers Injury Wednesday, October 2nd , 2058 When David Díaz was hurt against the Cairo Pharaohs, the London Monarchs were hopeful that the injury was not serious. However, it proved to be more severe than first thought. The 33-year-old reliever suffered a torn flexor tendon in his elbow throwing a pitch in yesterday's game. Team doctors told BNN today that Díaz would miss 8-9 months of the season. For the season his stats show Díaz has no saves in 14 relief appearances with a 1-4 record and 3.92 ERA. |
