Wednesday, June 12th , 2058
Sao Paulo's Owen Geddes took the hill at Ballpark of Bucharest today in search of his 200th career win. The 32-year-old ace found it against the Buenos Aires Brisas.

After the historic victory, his manager told reporters, "I saw a tremendous sigh of relief when this thing was over. He was just looking to hug everyone in sight."

He worked 8.2 innings with 7 strikeouts and 2 walks in the 5-4 victory, checking Buenos Aires on 5 hits.

"It a big milestone in my career," admitted Geddes. "When you get close to it, you worry about it a lot. It's done now... and I can relax and enjoy it."

Through the years Geddes has fashioned a 200-132 mark, 3.81 ERA and thrown 2951.1 innings. Opposing clubs are batting .248 lifetime against him and he has logged 2544 career strikeouts.
