Des Moines's Júlio Pérez Suffers Setback Saturday, October 1st , 2061 Des Moines Kernels left fielder Júlio Pérez informed reporters that he will be missing additional time because of a setback in his recovery from a sprained ankle. "It's a bit frustrating, sure," Pérez admitted. "I want to be out on the field. At the same time, I don't want to make things worse and miss even more time because I'm pushing it too hard." Kernels doctors told BNN Pérez would not return for one week. Thus far this year, Pérez is batting .314 with 38 home runs, 99 RBIs and 86 runs scored. |
