Cyclones Retain 3B Mendoza Tuesday, November 12th , 2058 Omaha fans celebrated as word of a signing became reality. Luis Mendoza won't be pulling up stakes anytime soon, as he has signed a 4-year extension at a pay rate of $14,000,000 per annum. Since he is widely seen as an integral part of the club, Omaha officials had to keep Mendoza from jumping ship. Mendoza is batting .257 with 2097 career base hits, including 315 doubles, 112 triples and 547 home runs with 1512 RBIs and 1512 runs scored. He has played in 2299 games, stolen 488 bases and compiled a .374 OBP. |
