No Late-Season Magic Coming: Valencia Out of Playoffs Monday, September 30th , 2058 Looking at the bigger picture, Martin Román of the Valencia Stars said he's excited for what's to come in the years ahead for his squad. But in the present, he said, the club is quite disappointed with the realization today that they are now mathematically out of playoff contention for the 2058 season. The Stars have missed the playoffs 46 times in their 64 years as a Brewster Baseball Association franchise. This playoff miss is the club's 5th in a row, with their last postseason appearance coming in 2053. In the last 10 seasons, the Stars have made the playoffs 4 times. |
