Omaha Devastated by Playoff Elimination Monday, September 30th , 2058 Omaha Cyclones manager Julián Negrete said his players are "devastated" to have missed the playoffs. Today it became official -- the club has run out of games and was mathematically eliminated from qualifying for a spot in the postseason. Before this season, the Cyclones last missed the playoffs in 2056. In the 64 years they have been a Brewster Baseball Association franchise, they have made the playoffs 29 times. In the last 10 seasons, the Cyclones have missed the playoffs 4 times. |
