Rehab Road Tough for Black Sox Bret Powers Monday, September 16th , 2058 After being examined by team doctors yesterday, Black Sox right fielder Bret Powers was told that his rehabilitation time would be increased to 12 months because he still had some pain and soreness. The medical staff did not want to activate him until he is totally healthy. Powers is recovering from a torn posterior cruciate ligament. Bret Powers is expected to undergo surgery in Chicago(Illinois) tomorrow. So far this year in 18 games Powers is hitting .235 with 1 home run, 10 RBIs and 9 runs scored. |
