Zach Davis Hurt, Out for Year Saturday, August 24th , 2058 The Madison Wolves and their fans were rocked today by the news that star reliever Zach Davis would miss the rest of the season due to injury. Davis was hurt in a recent game against the Louisville Sluggers while throwing a pitch. He was immediately removed from the game and taken for examination. Tests today revealed the injury was shoulder inflammation. His doctors think that Davis will miss about 4-5 months. So far, Davis has earned 2 saves in 19 relief appearances. He has 27 strikeouts and 13 walks in 34.2 innings while registering a 3.38 ERA and a 1-1 won-lost record. |
