Geauxinue Sits Out with Day-to-Day Injury Thursday, August 1st , 2058 Sacramento's star second baseman Ryan Geauxinue injured himself in a game against the Hawaii Tropics, prompting the team to list him as day-to-day. The doctors are reporting the injury as a stiff back and they say the best medicine is a short period of rest. "Hopefully I don't get replaced by some hotshot wannabe," said Geauxinue with a smile as he talked to reporters. So far in 2058 Geauxinue is batting .334 with 4 home runs, 36 RBIs and 49 runs scored. He has 98 hits in 293 at-bats and a .390 OBP. |
