Star-Studded Mad Popes-Outlaws Trade Monday, July 15th , 2058 Sacramento and San Antonio made big headlines today. In a major swap 26-year old RHP Abdul-Muhaimin Muhsin, 19-year old minor league RF Ánibal Torres, and $3,000,000 in cash will be sent to the Outlaws. In return the Mad Popes will receive 29-year old RHP António Báldez. "When the window of opportunity opens, you have to take advantage of it," said Sacramento general manager Doug Olmsted. This season Muhsin has nailed down 1 save with 33 strikeouts in 34.2 innings. He is credited with 1 win and 2 losses and has a 3.89 earned run average. So far this year Báldez has made 25 relief appearances with 2 saves, thrown 61.1 innings and struck out 64 with a 4-8 record. |
